Highlands Festival of Speed 2019
TWO days of spectacular classic racing, some of the best to be seen in New Zealand 6th - 7th APRIL 2019.
The Highlands Festival of Speed is a weekend packed with some of the best modern classic racing you will see in New Zealand. Featuring the Pre 65 Racing, Mainland Muscle, Formula Libre, South Island Porsche, OSCA, and the Highlands Modern Classics/Nostalgic Classics. This is a weekend of true blue Kiwi racing starring some of New Zealand's most well known racing legends.
The Highlands Festival of Speed returns to Cromwell this year on 6-7 April 2019. This year’s Festival will have some fantastic racing on the track with seven categories already confirmed.
Entry is only $30 or a two day pass for $50, kids under 16 free. This includes entry into the Highlands Museum. At lunch time you will have a chance to book a ride in the Fast Dash Ferrari or Porsche GT3RS (limited numbers, book on the day) And of course, no visit to Highlands is complete without a race with your mates on our Go-Kart track! You can wander through the pits, have a yarn to the competitors or stroll through the Vehicle Show featuring over 200 vehicles on display. Vehicles are not limited to cars – we welcome caravans, boats, motorbikes – anything that fits the theme ‘Festival of Speed’.
Saturday, 6 April: Event tickets are required.
Sunday, 7 April: Event tickets are required.
Tickets are available at the gate on all three days of the Highlands Festival of Speed race weekend.
Children (under 16) free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Adult (16 and over) - $30 per day
Two day pass: $50
Tickets can be purchased at the gate on either day.
Registrations are currently being accepted for the Highlands Festival of Speed Vehicle Show. If you have a treasured vehicle - car, bike, boat or caravan and would be interested in displaying it in our fast growing vehicle show, you can register here.
MOTOR HOME FACILITIES ON-SITE
Due to popular demand, we are excited to offer parking for self-contained motorhomes at the Festival. We have two areas for parking, one is trackside (limited to 7m vehicles) and the other is the outfield parking below the trackside area. You must pre book a site prior to the race meeting.
