Highlands is as committed to grass roots racing as it is to higher profile events and we will be back, bigger and better than ever for the Jackson Orchards Sprint Series at Highlands 2023/2024 season.
Tickets are not required for this event - free to attend!
Watch from the Highlands Cafe and enjoy the action from the elevated deck or head down to the grass berm beside our Go Kart track. You can also visit Pit Lane to meet the drivers and see the cars up close.
The Jackson Orchards Sprint Series is open to all competitors with the required MSNZ licence and vehicle with a minimum of a MSNZ certified half roll cage. This opens up the opportunity for people who haven’t raced at Highlands to give it ago.
The Sprint Series circuit configuration will be circuit A and circuit C of Highlands joined together creating a 2.9km circuit.
Jackson Orchards is proud to announce that they are the new Highlands Sprint Series sponsor in memory of Mark Jackson.
Having founded Jackson Orchards with his father Kevin Jackson, Marks family wanted to honour his legacy. Mark was a passionate club driver at Highlands, and motorsport was Marks greatest passion. When the opportunity arose for Jackson Orchards to sponsor the race series Mark was formerly involved in - it was a great fit.
Jackson Orchards is a family owned and operated orchard based in Cromwell. Central Otago is renowned for the rich, flavoursome stonefruits grown in the region. Cold crisp winters, hot dry summers, and a low annual rainfall combined with the rich mineral soils of a former gold-mining area provide the optimum conditions for producing fruit. Jackson Orchards grow a variety of cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, greengages, apples and pears during their season from November to April. Shop our fruit stall via the below link, or better yet pop in and say hi!
